Embroidery By Everything Personal has named Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country (ASPNC) as our first "Partner of the Month." The month long
fundraiser will be part of an on-going venture where 10% of profits for the month will be donated to a different local non-profit. "We have
always been big supporters of our community," commented owner Pat Beck. "Coming
up with the idea was an easy one," she added. "It is our chance to give
back."
For our first partnership, we decided to start with ASPNC. Headquartered in Franconia, the organization
provides year-round opportunities in sports and recreation for persons with
physical or developmental disabilities. Currently it serves over 120 athletes
from Northern Grafton, Carroll and Coos counties in New Hampshire, and Eastern
Caledonia and Essex in Vermont. Participants are also welcome from other areas
as well. Their most recent event, Sunrise Ascent on Mount Washington,
successfully involved over 100 volunteers taking four disabled participants to
the summit of the mountain by pushing and pulling them in adaptive equipment
specially designed for such a purpose.
Sandy
Olney, Executive Director of ASPNC is excited about the month-long partnership
with Embroidery By Everything Personal. "Without the support of local business
such as theirs, our operations would not be possible."
With
every purchase made during the month of October, Embroidery By Everything Personal will donate 10% of the profits to ASPNC. Included will be apparel,
embroidery, screen printing and promotional items. Located at 42 Cottage Street
in Littleton, we are open Monday through Friday
from 9am-5pm, and Saturdays by chance or appointment.
